Amazon Women on the Moon
Everything from tabloid vignettes, 1950s sci-fi films, late-night porn and infomercials is spoofed in this star-studded collection of skits that's a sequel (of sorts) to the granddaddy of all spoof movies, Kentucky Fried Movie. Rosanna Arquette and Sybil Danning headline a cast of guest stars that will knock your socks off, including Carrie Fisher, David Alan Grier, Steve Guttenberg, Arsenio Hall, Howard Hesseman, B.B. King and Michelle Pfeiffer.

A great parody of late night tv...from cheesy sci-fi from the 50's and 60's to commercials...
obviously based from a typical guy's perspective of flipping channels at least once a minute til you find something that will keep you entertained to your next mouthful of beer...has its moments but overall pretty lame.I agree with the other guy - MadMax
I remembered this being really funny. It's not. Kentucky Fried Movie is still funny after years and years, AWOTM is not.
There's a lot of familiar faces in it but that doesn't make up for the fact that it's not very funny. Funny to 13 yr olds, yes. Funny to adults...No.
But the Ray sketch is priceless. "You're the best, Ray!"...indeed.Why did I rent this again? - Ottawa_JP
I saw those movie once when I was kid and thought it very funny at the time. My brain must have still been in development as this is NOT a good movie.
It's a bunch of mini-skits set around the idea of watching an old movie at night. The jokes are dated and in most cases not very funny. Some of the comedic timing is very much off and lacking. The Arsenio Hall skit is a perfect example.
If you like parodies, you might like this movie, but otherwise don't bother.
