Blink
Blind since she was a child, Emma Brody (Madeleine Stowe) gets the gift of sight when a dead woman's eyes are donated to her. But her vision is still a bit blurry right after the operation, and while she's getting accustomed to her new eyes, Emma witnesses a brutal murder at night and must sort out the details using her other senses. Aidan Quinn co-stars as the detective who helps her. Michael Apted directs this edge-of-your-seat thriller.

Don't Blink For a Second - PopcornGallagher
This movie is fantastic. A great psychological thriller. A story about a girl who lost her vision as a child when her mother smashes her face into a mirror. She gets a transplant as an adult and one of the first things she see is a man who has murdered the woman who lives above her. The story is about the detective who is trying to break the case, the relationship that forms between them, and of course figuring out what the connection is between the main character and the man who is trying to murder her. Great until the end!Not as good as I hoped - mojoprofilms
I'm surprised this is down as a critic's choice, as quite a few things shortfalled in this film, the acting and the script importantly. With dialogue like "I can't see you anymore. (response) You've shown me how to see John, don't close your eyes now.", it just gets a little cheesy. The cinematography is a little dated, kind of like Michael Mann with a TV budget, and the cliche of the lonely, drunk cop is long dead.
