A Perfect Circle: Lost In The Bermuda Triangle
An admitted Bikini Bandits fanatic, Maynard James Keenan somehow convinced the rest of the band to commission underground filmmaker Steven Grasse to make a new Bikini Bandits episode as the music video for their hit song "The Outsider." Grasse then collaborated with music video veteran Mark Kohr to make sure it didn't completely suck. The resulting mayhem pissed nearly everyone off - especially the executives at Virgin Records. A stripped down, homogenized TV friendly edit was eventually salvaged from the wreckage. However, the original, long form, uncensored version remains a masterpiece of retardation. We present it to you here - warts and all.

Not for the faint of heart! - Christof
With hope for Maynard, in the offshoot of Tool, A Perfect Circle has successfully had 3 albums, which have received alright reviews. In a desperate hope for something related, I rented this DVD. This was a mistake, as the DVD really has nothing to do with anything related. It is filled with a series of short weird clips about 'Bikini Bandits', and Jailhouse scenes. The music video supplied really didn’t seem to be worth watching. Even if you are a fan of the band, I really don’t recommend this DVD. Only rent it as a last resort! Sorry APC + Tool lovers, "Lost in the Bermuda Triangle" should really have been left there.
