I loved this movie and I can't think of a zombie flick I haven't seen. From the trailer you might think this is a parody of a zombie flick, much like the "Scary Movie" crap but you couldn't be more wrong. This is a real zombie flick. The laughs come from the amusing characters and their brilliant screenplay banter. Finally a zombie flick that Mom will enjoy! The Perfect Smart Zombie Movie - zaakistan
When people talk about zombie movies, I generally tune out. Most of these gore flicks are made to shock and glorify death. This one is different.
Shaun sells TVs and plays video games. His best friend lives with him and has generally dampened his social life - check that, his life since high school. When zombies begin spreading their destructive virus throughout London by biting people, Shaun decides that life is worth defending and so are the people he loves.
The film is essentially an allegory on today's entertainment generation and how they are apathetic towards the things that truly matter - including each other.
If you don't mind a bit of over the top gore, this film is a riot to watch while maintaining a genuinely sensitive story.Excellent! - redalertgal
I really loved this movie. It's quirky, witty and hilarious. The character of "Shaun" is soooo good in this film I can't picture anyone else making this movie work. The movie doesn't spoof zombie movies so much as it just turns the situation into something that will make you laugh. It really respects the "ZOMBIE" genre. You might have to give it a chance the first 15 or 20 minutes until the movie gets going, but in my opinion, it's worth the wait.
