I Could Go On Singing
Jenny Bowman (Judy Garland), a famous American singer, comes to London for a series of concerts. But that's just the pretext. Soon after her arrival, Jenny pays a visit to her former lover, David Donne (Dirk Bogarde), with the intent of claiming their illegitimate son, whom she's never seen. Judy shines, of course, in the musical numbers; sadly, this was her final film.

Judy's Goodbye - FilmJunkie
Her last role gives Judy Garland probably the closest character to her own life. She plays Jenny Bowman, a famous singer ready to perform at the London Palladium, where Garland herself had appeared so many times, who visits her ex and her son and tries to rekindle the life they once had.
She is at once fabulous and tragic, and in one heart-breaking scene where she is ranting about the trials of her life of fame, the most real she has ever been on screen.
A grand goodbye to a grand lady.
