Screenwriters Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay co-directed this deeply imaginative film, which begins when a young boy squashes the eponymous bug. Wallace (John Carroll Lynch) tells the child he's performed a horrendous act of brutality when he killed the cockroach, which sets off a set of surprising twists and turns. Brian Cox, Jamie Kennedy, Ed Begley Jr. and Sarah Paulson co-star.
