The Wacky Comedy About 2 Medieval Guys Stuck In The 20th Century!
This outrageous time travel comedy follows the misadventures of a wacky medieval knight (Jean Reno - Just Visitin, Ronin, Mission: Impossible) and his faithful servant (Christian Clavier - Just Visiting) when they suddenly find themselves zapped into the present day! Mayhem rules as these 12th Century visitors try adapting to the wildly confusing modern world! To avoid being stuck here for good, however, they soon begin an all-out comic assault on their former castle - now a luxury hotel - in their quest to return. But you can be sure The Visitors won't leave without first delivering nonstop laughs and outstanding comedy entertainment!

kinda silly, light entertainment - lookingjust
As french farces go - this one is a pretty predictable mix of fart/smell jokes, silly humour and sexual innuendo. It is kinda entertaining and I suppose worth a try if you like that kind of thing, but really, it's pretty lightweight stuff. The redeeming features are the beautiful scenery of the french countryside and lovely old castles etc.Funny - popcorny
We really enjoyed this movie. While it was predictable, it was hilarious because of it. Jean Reno is a great actor, and proves it again in this film. Those watching must remember it is a B film, along the lines of "Monty Python"
Knowing how to speak French is not a requirement for this film.Worth seeing - NorthYoker
A French comedy whose jokes are too subtle for the subtitles. If you can understand the innuendos and subtle plays on French terms you will get more out of the humour. Regardless, this one is worth seeing when you're looking for something light.
Brush up on your high-school french first and enjoy with a bouteille de vin!
