Grand Theft Parsons
"A Rock 'n' Roll road movie like no other!"-Film Threat
Johnny Knoxville (Jackass: The Movie, Walking Tall) shows off star power in his first leading role as the hard-drinking, motorcycle-riding rock'n'roll manager Phil Kaufman. When legendary singer Gram Parsons dies, Kaufman steals the body to keep his promise to make Joshua Tree Gram's final resting place. Chased by the cops, Gram's father and Gram's psycho ex-girlfriend, Betty (Christina Applegate), Kaufman embarks on a darkly comic adventure deep into the desert. Based on a true story, this reckless road movie exceeds all limits.

Unique, crazy and true(mostly) story - Nykaeta
This movie is based(though loosely at times) on the true story of the pact between the late country rock star Gram Parsons and his road manager Phil Kaufman (played by Johnny Knoxville) to make sure he was cremated in the desert if Parsons were ever to die. Hilarity ensues when they try to recover the body and get it out into the desert all the while avoiding the cops, a money grubbing ex girlfriend, and Parsons' father. At times this movie was ridiculous stupid, and unbelievable, but true friends do these things for one another and in the end I felt and understood the bond these two friends had for each other.Boring - snoopy
A very slow movie -- we turned it off early. The humour was small and barely there. Knoxville plays a serious character in a movie that appears to be a very bad joke. It was a disappointment for Johnny Knoxville fans and definitely not a movie that we will recommend.
