This sequel to the hit movie Bridget Jones's Diary begins four weeks after the final events of the first film. The formerly single Bridget Jones (Renee Zellweger) discovers that life with her new beau, barrister Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), isn't everything it was cracked up to be, and neither is her new job as a news reporter for the "Sit Up Britain" television show.

Funny, enjoyable chick flick. Bridget must choose between her flawless boyfriend, Mark, and the mischievous and devilishly charming Daniel. I love Bridget Jones with a capital L! She is hilarious and seeing her life through her diary makes for some real entertainment. Great movie to watch with girlfriends.No thanks - Sandy_P
I thought the first one was good, I turned this one off and good or bad, I usually watch a movie right to the end, I just couldn't this time. Not a very good movie in my opinion at all. A disappointment. It seemed to drag and just wasn't as funny as the first one. I like Renee Zellweger, but not in this movie.Don't Bother - ottawaflicks
I loved the Bridget Jones' Diary book and liked the sequel novel that this movie is based on, but somehow this movie plays like a really bad repeat of the first. The characters are still quite enjoyable, but I spent most of the movie thinking "didn't I see this same scene in the first movie". And the ending - I don't want to spoil it for you - but let's just say that Bridget gets into a sticky situation in Thailand - is quite bizarre. Don't zip it - skip it!
