Pleasantly surprised, it was quite good - Aviendha
I was pleasantly surprised with this movie. My impression before I watched it was that it would be exactly like the movie Traffic but it actually looks at a lot of different issues related to trafficking people, drugs, etc. And they filmed all the Afghanistan scenes in Kamloops, BC, Canada which I think does a great job! Cliff Curtis does a great job in this as well.unanswered questions heather? - ole_thor
I really enjoyed the movie, lots of twists and plenty of action. a friend asked me about the movie because one review said there were unanswered questions - why did the boat sink?.
the answer is there, I won't give the answer here, but the guy that was killed in the hospital had a specific role that he was not performing and that was why he got away and why the ship sank.Great! - heatherc
Kind of like '24,' but without the frantic pace and ticking clock. That said, the story is still well told and well drawn out. There are a few questions that are left unanswered (why did the boat sink?), but the character development is excellent. I really enjoyed it - good music, some great shots of 'Seattle' (actually Vancouver), and an enjoyable show to watch over a couple of nights.
