Daredevil (Director's Cut)
For Daredevil, justice is blind, and for the guilty…there's hell to pay! Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner ignite dangerous sparks and nonstop thrills in this "dazzling action-adventure" (The Film Journal) about the newest breed of superhero. By day, blind attorney Matt Murdock (Affleck) toils for justice in Hell's Kitchen. By night, he's Daredevil, The Man Without Fear - a powerful, masked vigilante stalking the dark streets with an uncanny "radar sense" that allows hime to "see" with superhuman capabilities. But when the love of his life, fiery Elektra Natchios (Garner), is targeted by New York City's ruthless Kingpin of Crime (Michael Clarke Duncan) and his deadly assassin Bullseye (Colin Farrell), Daredevil may be about to meet his match.

I must say that I was not a big fan of this movie. Its interesting that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were in this together before they were a couple. So I guess it fun to watch from that persepective. The acting and the storyline unfotunetly leave a lot to be desired.very good - FieroGT
Ben Affleck is really good as daredevil and Jennifer Garner is his equal as Elektra. The writers do explain the accident very well and the action is awesome. Collin Ferrel is right on the money as Bullseye. The director's cut is worth the rent with all the extra material. I did enjoy this movie emmensly. The effects are very well executed as are all the stunts.Director's cut is slightly better - Coconut_Willy
When I originally saw the theatrical version of this movie, I thought it was OK but very typical of the genre. In this director's cut version, the story makes a lot more sense and the characters are more developed. It still is a pretty average movie with lots of special effects, lots of irrelevant fight scenes and lots of superfluous plot elements. The storyline is not very original but one must remember that this is based on a comic book character. The cast is OK doing an appropriate acting job with a fair dialogue. The sets and locations are very good, the soundtrack is a bit loud at times and the camera work is OK. Some of the special effects do not work too well as the CG work is quite apparent but if you are not too particular about it, it might work for you. At over 2 hours, this might be a bit much for a superhero movie and I can understand that some might prefer to watch the original version but this one is slightly better as it does expand in an interesting way on the story and the characters.
