Meet the Fockers
In this sequel to the 2000 hit Meet the Parents, ex-CIA man Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro) and his wife (Blythe Danner), having given permission to male nurse Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) to wed their daughter (Teri Polo), travel to Detroit to meet Focker's parents (Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand). Unlike their happily matched offspring, the senior Byrnes and Fockers find themselves in a situation of opposites that don't attract!

A super funny movie, a nice one to watch with the inlaws. Great acting by everyone involved. If you like this one make sure to check out the sequals that follow as it really pulls together the whole story line. Even though the story line is very far fetched it is packed with funny moments that will leave you laughing.Really well-made. Thumbs way up, folks! - moviemonger
A very funny movie that is able to combine a great premise with ideal actors, laugh out scenes with a sentimental touch and over the top sequences with a believable story line. Go see this movie and laugh! Meet the Fockers is a pleasant surprise. It carries on a lot of the same gags from the first film, but freshens things up by make the jokes about more than how many ways there are to sizzle Stiller’s Gaylord Focker. Though De Niro quickly stole the show in the original film, it is Hoffman in a wonderfully weird turn as Focker’s stay at home, tree hugging, emotionally open father that runs away with the sequel. The sharp, funny tone of Meet the Fockers makes it a nice surprise and a movie easy to recommend. While perhaps the talents of great actors like Hoffman and De Niro might be better spent on roles befitting their stature, they are by no means wasted. Streisand and Hoffman are a surprisingly nice fit in the Meet the world, and their addition gives the movie new material that it might not have had without them. This isn’t just a second helping of Gaylord Focker humiliation, for once here’s a comedy sequel that manages to revisit its world without banally repeating it. Meet the Fockers is comfortable and yet unpredictable. The result is undeniably funny.Streisand and Hoffman have a hoot - Baboonvideo
ZIP-WORTH IF: You can look past the familiarity of it all to enjoy the new members of the family.
REVIEW: In all the years that Barbara Streisand and Dustin Hoffman have been on the screen, it is surprising that it has taken a lowbrow sequel like Meet the Fockers to bring them together. That said, they make an extremely welcome pair in this follow-up to 2000's Meet the Parents, bringing some fresh life to overly familiar characterizations and situations.
Here Streisand and Hoffman play the freethinking parents of male nurse Gaylord Focker (Ben Stiller), who has brought his fiancée (Teri Polo) and her uptight parents (Robert De Niro and Blythe Danner) for a visit to his parents in Miami. Predictably, Stiller panics, De Niro's former CIA agent is suspicious and Polo and Danner try to be reassuring, but their acts were all much funnier the first go-around.
Thankfully, Streisand and Hoffman are clearly having a hoot and, even when the screenplay shows too much of an affinity for smutty sexual shenanigans or when comic set pieces move from amusing to absurdity, the two veteran actors steal every scene.
Hoffman plays a stay-at-home dad with all the glee and enthusiasm of a little boy on his birthday and Streisand gives a warm and funny performance, finally stepping from the perfect persona bubble she's been trapped in ever since 1991's The Prince of Tides.
