A comedy for consenting adults!
Steve (John Stamos) and Eric (Daniel London) are average married guys from Freehold, New Jersey. They don't watch MTV anymore. They don't go to bars. They really don't do anything anymore. Suddenly it hits them: they have become grownups, settling into the suburban routine.
Eric has always joked that he and Steve should "swap wives", but what if his joke were to become reality? It would be easy. They're best friends. Their wives are young and attractive. It's not like really cheating. But will Ami and Claire feel the same way> It's all about the approach...

Also known as "My Best Friend's Wife."
Not bad, some nudity at the strip club, but tame otherwise. The acting was solid enough to keep me watching and the characters were likable. Stamos, Salenger and some minor characters kept things moving along, but not much really happens.Good Thought Provoker... - Jeefster
I rented this to follow the career of Meredith Salenger and see what she's been involved in over the years. I find her quite attractive as she doesn't have that standard everygirl look about her that so many of the nowadays Hollywood actresses seem to have. Cloning I believe it's called. Anyways, the movie was quite good although it could easily be a movie of the week on Women's Network TV, and me being the male of the species would like to have seen a little bit of skin. I mean the whole premise of the movie is adults trying wife-swapping, so would have expected...more.
Whatever the movie had to offer, I enjoyed, although the couples broke the cardinal rule of wife-swapping, and that is- never do this with someone you know intimately. The whole situation just gets too messy and emotional, and everyone will get hurt, no exceptions. Yeah. Or um so I've been told. Yeah.
Anyways, that's what happens in the movie and of course everything works out well in the end, so if you like predictability in your flicks this one is for you.
