What the Bleep Do We Know!?
The neurological processes and "quantum uncertainty" of life are explored in this film. Thrust from her mundane life into an Alice in Wonderland-like world, Amanda (Marlee Matlin) must develop a brand-new perception of the world and the people she interacts with. Interviews with various experts are interspersed throughout the film, which combines narrative, documentary and animation.

Eye opening - Thrills_n_Chills
This impacted me in a refreshing eye opening way. Reading other reviews on here i see that not everybody 'got it', perhaps because the first hour which sets up the foundation was already clear and not new for me, and was overwhelming for others who may not. To those folks id say watch it again, relax and open your mind and I think you will have a unique perspective on reality and how there is no single view of it, "you have to love the ambiguity" as quoted in the fim. Also its important to note that there was not meant to be a com9lete consensus of all the folks used in this film...its supposed to make you think. While the acting is corny, if you can get past that, it still works to give an example of a life's journey.Uhhh! - mxg123
What was this movie? I did not get it, and according to one of its character, I’m supposed to have gotten something from it. Maybe in another lifetime or dimension I’ll get it. I do believe that visualization may be a very important aspect to learn, but is it truly the way it portrayed in this film? What the Bleep am I Watching? - TheShamus
"What the Bleep Do We Know?" is difficult to describe. This DVD is a series of interviews with "Philosophers", "Scientists", "Mystics" etc. mixed with "dramatic illustrations" which are supposed to mirror the ideas being put forth. This is not the typical stuff you see in a motion picture.
If the measure of a good movie/documentary is how much it makes you think, this movie should get high marks. This movie is likely to challenge the way you view your "reality". In some cases, this is very successful. For example, the sections on how our brain works on a microscopic level is very interesting.
Structurally, this movie seems to jump around. Some people I have talked to really enjoyed the "dramatizations" while I found it annoying and distruptive to the message that was being delivered. To each their own.
I was bothered by the way some subjects were approached as if the statements being made were "factual". While I am not scientifically qualified to comment, my gut tells me some of these statements are complete speculation or theory ... far from factual. Facts should be presented with facts (and scientific proof). I always find credentials add to credibility as well. The theories and speculation should be presented as theories and speculation. If someone presented as an "authority" is channelling the energy of another being --- that will help me to weigh their credibility.
As a scientifically researched documentary, this DVD would rate extremely low. As an entertainment piece, this piece also rates pretty low. As a conversation piece, this DVD rates high.
I will settle on two stars. If you are looking to learn something about Quantum Physics, I would not recommend this DVD as a good place to start.
