Why No S1 or S2???? - kav2001c
For some odd reason, only seasons 3 and 4 were actually released on dvd (maybe because someone thought animation from earlier seasons wouldnt cut it? I dont know but I am STRONGLY upset by this)
Anyhow
Season 3 deals with the aftermath of the battle between the web creatures and the alliance between Mainframes inhabitants and the Viruses (which is not even *mentioned* in the S1/S2 summary on this disc, despite constant referances in the episodes to earlier events, many of which will leave new fans clueless as to meaning)
Megabyte of course betrayed Bob and shot him off into the web before all access ports were locked down leaving an unprepared Enzo as the systems Guardian
Enzo must start to go through a maturation process as the remaining forces at his disposal pale in comparison to the Viral forces, and worse, unlike his predecessor, noone in the system takes him seriously at firstOne of the best... - Dj2000
Now the series begins when Bob, a humanoid sprite, is downloaded into Mainframe to be its guardian from viruses and other hardware problems, as well as play the games. He is met by Dot, the local business sprite, her kid brother Enzo, and his dog Frisket. The major antagonists are the virus Megabite (a power driven business tycoon) and his sister Hexidecimal (a character who makes no sense even to herself and strives for chaos). The first two seasons are basic slap stick comedy, they have a problem, play a game, and with some humor, the problem works itself out within the 22 minuet life span of the episode. It comically spoofs everything from Power Ranger, to Nascar, to Jurassic Park, to D&D. All and all it starts out as a fairly juveniele series (there are a lot of computer related jokes that kids won't get, but they'll enjoy it just the same).
