Fandango
College is over, real life can start. Well, not yet. The Groovers, five University of Texas roommates, class of '71, find breaking up is hard to do. So Gardner, the group's official "Groover and Shaker," decides that he and his buddies should chuck their worries about an imminent wedding, the Vietnam draft and crashing the working world to take off in Phil's Caddy for a final footloose tear across the Lone Star State. Join their far-flung post-graduation Fandango. A dynamic cast including rising stars Kevin Costner as party guy Gardner and Judd Nelson as straight-arrow Phil, and the clever script and direction of first-timer Kevin Reynolds (Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves, Waterworld) make it a rip-roaring ride. Like American Graffiti and Breaking Away, Fandango is a jovial, joyful look at growing up and busting loose.

Classier Road Trip - Oscar
If you like college hi-jinks and road trip movies then this is worth a watch. Kevin Kostner is the irresponsible college washout that leads his roomates on one last road trip to Mexico in a 56 Caddie after graduation.
The scene at the desert skydiving school with the stoned-out instructor is a highlight.
The production values are very good and there is some dazzling camera work.
