A lonely 10-year-old girl (Annasophia Robb) adopts an orphaned dog, Winn-Dixie (named for the supermarket where she found him), who helps her make friends in a small Florida town. The inseparable bond between the girl and her beloved companion unites the townspeople and helps heal her own troubled relationship with her father.

Great movie to see with or without kids. Such a winning story - an incredible cast and well-flushed out characters. A great reminder of what richness an animal can bring to your life. The relationship of the father-daughter was very heartwarming. You won't be disappointed.Because of Winn-Dixie - Bear1
We really like this movie. There are so many kid movies out there and it is hard to find one that you can watch with your kids time and time again. It catered to very young ones at 3 years all the way up to a 10 year old. We enjoyed the music as the adults and there were so many themes we could talk about. I would buy this one or rent it again.Cute Movie - Mykull
A Nice family story, about a dog that changes peoples lives.. and more so, my daughter loved it. Reminded me of those old Bengi movie.... which I grew up on. This was adapted from the novel, and did a pretty good job following it from start to finish. I would recommend this movie if your into having a family movie night.
