I thought this was a great movie. The story line was a little predictable but that was okay because I needed that extra time to get used Tabu and Ashwariya Rai speaking in Tamil. The acting was brilliant! Of course the music was amazing...anything A.R. Rehman does is amazing.
I would recommend this movie.Terrific! - Lina
This is the first Bollywood movie I ever saw, and I'm afraid it may have spoiled me for others, it was so good. First, the story is based on Jane Austen's "Sense and Sensibility" (in a modern Indian setting), which means it has an intelligent plot, the cinematography is beautiful, the music is catchy, and the acting ranges between good and excellent. It's well-done pop culture, but what's fascinating is that it's obviously *another* culture's pop culture, which held my interest throughout. Highly recommended!
