Love That Boy
A romantic comedy that puts a quirky twist on the intergenerational tale. Phoebe (Nadia Litz) is a socially inept overachiever, unrecognized in a world run by C students. With a month until college ends, she's given herself a "To Accomplish Before Graduation" list, which includes everything from picking wild mushrooms to learning how to kayak. When her roommate points out that what Phoebe really needs is a boyfriend, she simply adds that to her list. After the demise of her first relationship - her "boyfriend" didn't even know they were going out - Phoebe inadvertently falls in love. The only problem is, he's 14.

I found the characters to be two dimensional at best and unlikable. I found the plot of be unrealistic, not to mention it basically ignored the premise of the movie for well over the first half of the film. It was really boring and overall a movie i got no enjoyment from. I reccomend giving this one a pass.2 1/2 Stars - bleuorchid21
Love That Boy is the story of overachiever Phoebe, whose sole purpose in life is to complete a list of to-do accomplishments, such as learning all the constellations, foraging for wild mushrooms, and writing and illustrating a children's novel, before her college graduation. Once her roommate points out that Phoebe only cares about herself and has never even had a boyfriend, she adds that to her list. Upon looking for possible prospects, she finds the perfect match... Unfortunately, he is only 14.
I found the first part of the movie a bit dull and Phoebe a somewhat unlikeable character. Once her possible love interest came into the picture, the movie was actually enjoyable and the interaction between the two made the movie interesting.Nothin' funny or fomantic. - Xazard
Looks like the movie from 80’s taped on home camera, no attractive girls and low budget; probably only four actors got their pay cheques. The main female character is so annoying, she deserves to get choked. Story is simple, a nurdy chick needs to get laid, got a list going of all the things she’s gotta do… check out Treva’s review (below) for more detailed story. Yeah. Movie sucked. Boring. Not romantic nor funny as told in the info.
