In The Weeds
It's Martha's first night as a waitress in an upscale New York restaurant. Veteran Chloe shows her the ropes and introduces her to the lives of the restaurant staff. Adam, a hopeful playwright, suffers for his art while dealing with a very indecisive (ex-?)girlfriend. Marlon is a cocky young actor, certain that his big break is just around the corner. When the restaurant's obnoxious owner, Simon, brings a special client in for dinner, pressures mount until an explosion seems inevitable.

This one is awful. Baaaaad writing, mediocre acting, overdone cliche's about dreamns and facing reality, uneven pacing all combine to make this one of the least enjoyable movies in a while. Nice to see Molly Ringwald back I guess and she was by far the most enjoyable part of the movie. And, the hippie-esque cameraman from Blair Witch is the male lead...maybe thats what happened to him that night??mediocre - Craig1
I rented this just to see Ellen Pompeo in an earlier role. And that was about all that was entertaining about this flick. It was nice to see Molly Ringwald again and her character had some good lines. Joshua Leonard leaves a little to be desired in his delivery. Interesting collection of actors, but fairly boring storyline.
