This is a very good but very disturbing film of events that ocurred in an Irish reform school, run by Catholic brothers. A lot of scenes are brutal.
That these 'brothers' a.k.a. priests were never prosecuted by the law is absolutley appalling.
I was left wondering what acts of violence Brother John got up to in the remaining 30 years of his life as a missionary, not to mention the pedophile Brother Mac......
Serves as a reminder that these events were also prevalent in the Native American residential schools....
