Intervista
"A luscious valentine" -Playboy Magazine
Federico Fellini welcomes us into his world of filmmaking with a mock-documentary about his life in film. A Japanese film crew follows him around the set as he films commercials at his famed studio, Cinecitta, in Rome. Marcello Mastroianni and Anita Ekberg revisit La Dolce Vita in a touching and haunting moment that stays with you long after the movie ends.

Huge ego vehicle lacked Fellini's usual magic - spaz
I found this film to be a slight, confusing piece, overwrought and pretentious. Fellini's huge ego played center stage and as with real life egotists, it got boring very quickly.
It became somewhat more interesting when Marcello Mastroianni came on the scene, as well as Anita Ekberg. They shared some touching scenes, including during a replay of the fountain scene in La Dolce Vita.
