Pure redneck comedy - Poet
I found myself laughing quite a bit while watching this particular title. Some jokes miss the mark, but the average is good.
Yes, it is crude and racist, in pure redneck fashion. It fits with the character and it is played out to a certain crowd. Other comedians such as Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock have done some stuff of this sort, playing to their crowd, and got away with it. Let's not have a double standard because Larry is a white male. You can laugh at the stuff without actually agreeing. This stuff is said in jest by a character that doesn't come off as too hateful.

This dvd is in line with many of thos produced by Chris Rock, and other funny people. For those of you who don't like it, you shouldnt be watching commedy then. If you think this is racist, watch chris rock. Hes not a wite male, but is equally offensive. Just because Larry is white doesn't mean that his jokes are more offensive. Its commedy, get over and and laugh. This guy will make you do that for sure! Ordinary sick commedy, for the sick minded indivudual! Its funny if you let it be. Loved it!! I fell out of bed laughing and so did my husband. You have to know what you are getting yourself in for here. The jokes are crude, disgusting, racist etc, but if we cant laugh at ourselves, then we cant laugh. Even my mother in law found humor in this standup routine. Larry is definately my favorite comic on the bluecollar comedy tour!! Cant get enough of him!
