Enter Laughing
In Carl Reiner's adaptation of his own semi-autobiographical novel of the same name, we are treated to the story of a young man who aspires to be a matinee idol. Set in 1930s New York City, the young David Kolowitz decides to forego his parents' plan of attending pharmacy school and becomes involved in a low-rent, off-Broadway production that requires him to pay for the privilege of acting in it. A hilarious comedy that saw the debut of several great actors, including Rob Reiner and Don Rickles.
