Camp Cucamonga
The Zaniest, Most Hilarious Summer Vacation Ever!
Ahh, summer. This is the year that Marvin Sheetor (John Ratzenberger), former accountant, makes a dream come true. He's always wanted to run a sleep-away camp and now he is "Colonel Marv," the new director of Camp Cucamonga. But running a camp is more work than he and his wife Millie expected. The cabins are filled with teenagers determined to make the most of their summer and that means endless pranks and misadventures.
Meantime, handsome counselor Roger Burke is determined to get extra-friendly with all the female counselors, in particular lovely Ava (Jennifer Aniston). Colonel Marv endangers the camp's accreditation when he mistakes the visiting camp inspector (G. Gordon Liddy) for the handyman he was expecting. By the end of the summer there are warm new friendships, a budding new romance between Roger and Ava, and an exhausted but happy Marvin, leading his campers in a Victory Dance.

Not as good as I remembered... - sarahbaboo
I rented this movie because I remembered how much I loved it as a kid....But it definately wasn't as good this time around.
Basically, the plot is overly simple, the actors are inexperienced and overact many scenes, the movie's cheesy and really did not age well! On the other hand, it was kind of cool to see Jennifer Aniston pre-Friends and many recognizable child actors in this movie.
I would recommend this movie for children, but as an adult you'll be tempted to stop the movie before its over, its THAT bad.I loved Camp! - GreenIvy
My quest to recapture my youth ends with the made for T.V. movie Camp Cucamonga. This was a movie that starred a ton of the kids I used to watch on ABC’s TGIF and other popular shows all in one.
We have a young Jennifer Aniston, Candace Cameron – D.J on Full House, Breckin Meyer – pre Clueless, Danica McKellar – Winnie on The Wonder Years and Jaleel White – the first time I had ever seen him out of his Urkel character.
The plot is basically the one you’d expect, the camp that the kids love is in danger of being closed so they take it upon themselves to try and stop it. They do this by compiling a video with a catchy little song to convince people to enroll.
All in all I really enjoyed my little blasts from the past, remembering how you felt when you were a kid can make you focused on how you want to feel as an adult.
