I'd put zero stars if I could. Definitely in the running for the worst movie ever made, though in my own unhit list I'd still put it second to "The Crow". There's not a believable character, virtual or nominally real, in the whole consarn mess. Don't waste even 45 seconds on this one.special effects extravaganza - TMFan
I thought this film was ok. It has so much CGI that I'd say the film itself was a giant special effect. It has a sort of synthetic look just like a 3D animation film, except with real people. But the important thing is that the effects were usually pretty good, colourful and cool to watch. However there's so much going on that its hard to follow the story (if there is such a thing here) as it's the visuals that take over pretty much all the runtime of the film...
Still, Legend of Zu is a fun movie although it's not very engaging because you'll say to yourself WTF quite a few times. But it's still interesting to watch just for the imagery alone.
