Cinderella
The most celebrated of all the Disney classics, Cinderella, is also known as one of Walt Disney's all-time favorite films. Cinderella has enchanted generations with its spellbinding story, charming music, and endearing characters that live in your heart forever. The beloved fairy tale becomes pure Disney magic as beautiful Cinderella shares her dreams of romance and a better life with the lovable mice Gus and Jaq. When Cinderella's cruel stepmother prevents her from attending the Royal Ball, the delightful Fairy Godmother appears! With a wave of her wondrous wand and a bouncy "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo," the Fairy Godmother transforms a simple pumpkin into a magical coach -- and Cinderella's rags into a gorgeous gown. At the ball, Cinderella falls in love with Prince Charming, but must flee before the stroke of midnight breaks the spell!

Classic but still heartwarming - Hawk639
So all of us remember the story of Cinderella. Classic underdog becomes princess with of course the evil step-mother. Still even after all these years this movie has great appeal.
Some of the parts are old fashioed but that just adds to the charm. The music and comic from the animals is just plain fun.One of the best Disney Features - TheShamus
The term, "Disney Classic" has become overused. It is debatable whether this is a four or five star movie. However, any way you slice this movie, it is excellent. It is not too scary for kids from 2 years ... and it manages to entertain parents and seniors alike.
The "plus" the experience, Disney adds in some additional extras to give some perspective of this 1950 classic. Think about the number of features which still have such a cultural impact well over 50 years later. In many ways, the Disney themepark empire is built on the corner stones of this story and these characters.
The animation is very good ... and the inclusion of the cute, funny animals interacting with the human characters helps to add "meat" to the bones of a clever, but simple story line.
This is worth owning ... since it is something you can pull out an admire 10 year from now, and still enjoy it.
If I sound a bit like a cheerleader, then, "Sis Boom Bah" ... my daughters were delighted by this movie.

The Disney Studio came out of the Second World War like a bear out of hibernation: lean, mean and desperate to "score". The war years and the loss of the lucrative European market had eaten away most of the studios cash, the features before the war had financially not been successful (Pinocchio, Fantasia, Bambi), so Walt Disney decided not to take any chances and produce a a sure and relatively cheap hit in the fairy tale format he knew so well. It worked. The result was the living proof that financial and creative limitations are not neccessarily limitations on producing a solid, ageless masterpiece. Walt's staff made the most out of the limited resources and in doing so came up with a classic that the current Disney Company with all of its power, financial resources and stifling political correctness can only dream of touching.
