The Adventures of Errol Flynn
The documentary The Adventures of Errol Flynn was made to accompany the release of several of Flynn's swashbuckling masterpieces on DVD in The Errol Flynn Signature Collection. Along with interviews with his family and friends, including extensive interviews with Olivia de Havilland, wives Patrice Wymore and Nora Eddington, and daughter Deirdre, there is also 'behind-the-scenes' footage, private home movies, and material never before seen by the public (including footage from the never-completed "William Tell").

The Adventures of Errol Flynn - TheWiz
Errol Flynn, as with Hemmingway, was part of that last generation of "Adventurer's". Money wasn't the object - Fulfillment, glory and a fast paced life is what this type of person was looking for and in return audiences, including myself, received family adventure on film at it's very best. As with anything fast paced, the light goes out faster and Errol wasn't the exception to the rule. His demise is a sad tale and that no one, not a soul, came to his rescue after he made millionaires out of so many is very very sad. This is a must see! OK for kids, so long as you are able to explain his life story in words they'll understand.
