Scanners II: The New Order

Due to a certain drug taken by their mothers during pregnancy, certain humans are born as 'scanners', people with inate telepathic abilities. A local politician wants to use some of his scanner allies to control the populace; it's up to an untrained scanner, who isn't yet comfortable with his own powers, to fight back.
