Bigger Than The Sky
A "charismatic" (The Atlanta Journal-Constitution) John Corbett ("Sex and the City") stars as a talented but immature actor who is forced to grow up when he finds he has a new rival-in romance. Amy Smart (Varsity Blues), Sean Astin (the Lord of the Rings trilogy) and Patty Duke (The Miracle Worker) co-star in this feel-good story of self-discovery.
Mike (Corbett) only wants to perform in great productions. So when a clueless amateur (Marcus Thomas) is given the lead in Cyrano de Bergerac, Mike decides he must personally train him. But when real life begins to mimic the play's love triangle and his protégé falls for the girl Mike loves but can't commit to (Smart), suddenly it's Mike's turn to learn - not how to act, but how to live!

I thought this was an entertaining movie, there were enough laughs and turns in the movie to keep me watching. It was a good rental but I wouldn't necessarily send other people out to get it because I don't think it's a movie that everyone would like.Rent this movie you will be surprised! 4 stars - Film_Buff
This is a great story of a regular guy who's girlfriend has just left him. Obviously heart broken wants to change his life, he ends up auditioning for a play and much to his surprise gets the lead role. The real story is that he just doesn't belive in himself but ends up making new friends in the theater and despite lousy acting he manages to break out of his shell in time for opening night. Amy Smart and John Corbett do outstanding jobs as supporting actors.
