A magical friendship with Santa's newest reindeer.
A young girl learns the true meaning of friendship from one of Santa's reindeer in Blizzard, an enchanting holiday film the whole family will cherish.
When her family moves, Katie is sad to leave her friends and ice skating lessons behind. But then she meets Blizzard, a reindeer with special powers, who helps her realize her potential. Although Blizzard risks being banished from Santa’s village, they band together to overcome their obstacles. Both Katie and Blizzard are able to share the greatest gift of all: friendship.

Blizzard is a cute holiday movie. It's a typical 'feel good' movie, with a nice ending. I enjoyed the story line, and while the acting wasn't fantastic, it was certainly better than a lot of movies of the same style.
The 2 story lines were a nice way of keeping it interesting.

The talking reindeer were really not very realistic. As much as I like Whoopi Goldberg, for some reason it seemed strange to see her voice come out of a reindeer.

My 8 and 10 year old boys were a bit skeptical at the start of this movie but I made them sit through the first 10 minutes and sure enough, they were hooked! They loved this movie -the story is wonderful and a lot of fun, with enough of a storyline to keep everyone's attention and interest. Excellent family movie.
