and actually quite well done to the point that it's not important to have subtitles, which is not easy for non-English movies. However, unfortunately, the movie glosses over too many of the important points to make it really interesting and instead it is another romantic comedy with the the gay twist thrown in for originality. Simply okay, but nothing moreexcellent fluff - poolman
This silly but quite engageable Danish gay soap is long, funny, improbable, whimsical and a reversal of the tried and true str8 to gay switch that powers a lot of gay flics. The characters are caricaturish but not off-putting as they're done with a European flair for camp that's inoffensive and just plain fun. Don't expect a lot but just sit back and enjoy this feel good romp. Subtitles are quite British (eg: "snackered"?).A truly adorable film - amberson
This sweet story about a man who is afraid of committing is set to a magnificent soundtrack of danish and swedish music. Great plot, great acting, and really loved that no one mentions that one of the couples is gay and another isn't- they don't even do the 'see-we're tolerant' discussion of lifestyles that you sometimes get with hollywood. It's very refreshing and real.
Plus it's quite funny. What's not to love about an eyepatch?
