L.A. Without a Map
Based on the novel by Richard Rayner
When Scottish undertaker Richard (David Tennant, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) is smitten with Barbara (Vanessa Shaw, Eyes Wide Shut), a beautiful American tourist, he leaves his dull life behind and follows her back to Los Angeles. Thrown in at the deep end (and unable to drive), he discovers that life in Southern California is far from straightforward. A hilarious 'fish-out-of-water' love story with surprising guest stars.

This movie wasn't good, it wasn't bad. It was just purely unengaging. I thought it had some promise at first, then it went to stupid-comedy-romance fluff, then briefly better, then solidly worse. I started fast forward scanning around the 60 minute mark, and that was quite an accomplishment to last that long. The lead actors all did a good job but there was just not much substance to the story.
