Ce qui m'a semblé intéressant dans ce film de 1955, c'est le côté subversif. À ma connaissance, c'est le premier film à s'intéresser aux adolescents de l'après-guerre et à leurs parents détachés. Le jeu de Dean est définitivement digne de mention. L'ensemble transpire un certain cachet que la plupart des films n'approche même pas.Iconic, but not very good. - KeithTalent
Did not really enjoy this very much at all. I thought the acting and dialogue was pretty poor and a few of the characters were very annoying, or even creepy. I got very bored with this about 20 minutes in or so and kind of tuned out for a while. I did love the chicken/drag race part (when the guy drove off the cliff I exploded with laughter; that was awesome) but how things progressed and more importantly how quickly they progressed afterwards really made no sense to me. I'd always wanted to see this, but I was very disappointed.Dellisional society...why can't i see the greatness? - movie_goer
"Rebel without a cause is a movie without great meaning..." I was looking forward to this film starring James Dean who's face crepted out at me while visiting Hollywood studios and small corner stores his face planted on collector coffee mugs... i desided to watch this classic icon dazzle me and see what the whole Buzz was. He did not fail to entertaine me...But the movie on the other hand gave me mixed emotions. I guess it's a Teen movie of it's generation and much has changed over the years making it hard for me to compare or relate.
