I Love Your Work
Fame kills
Movie star Gray Evans (Giovannni Ribisi) is at the top of his game: a seeminly endless supply of money, celebrity friends, parties, a beautiful wife... and his name and image, known all around the world.
But with fame and fortune comes sometimes unwanted attention. Convinced that the 'chance' encounters that he has been having with fans are not all coincidental, he looks to his bodyguard and a video store clerk for help - despite the protests of those around him. Is he truly paranoid, as they suggest? Or has he found himself in the cross-hairs of an obsessed fan... or someone much closer to him?

Adam Goldberg is really talented but..... - oscar_reed
Adam Goldberg is a really talented writer and director but he should stay away from soundtrack work...Also, it would be nice to see an indie movie that had higher than a fourth-grade vocabulary...all that said, this is worth a watch.....All the acting is decent.....the cinematography is really good....the editing is what really makes this picture...ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ - Big_J
This one is very slow. After the first half hour it feels like you've been watching for about three hours. And it just kinda goes on and on like that. It was a cool movie, just not entertaaining. The acting was quite good and (other than the fact that it moved at a snail's pace) the story was pretty cool too. I'm not saying this is bad enough to skip but if you do watch it you are in for a bit of a long night.More potential than fulfillment - johnn_b
The first half of this movie is very good, intriguing, fun and, at times, quite funny. The second half falls down the hole of more artiness than art and fails to maintain interest. Ribisi is a brilliant actor, and really, everyone shines in this vehicle, but it needs an editor, badly. Also, the talents of Christina Ricci are wasted as she gives a way-too minimalist performance in her little-more-than-a-cameo role. The ending is lovely, but don't pause it when you get up and make popcorn as the movie starts to really drag in the middle.
