Must Love Dogs tells the story of Sarah Nolan (Diane Lane), a newly divorced woman cautiously rediscovering romance with the enthusiastic but often misguided help of her well-meaning family. As she braves a series of hilarious disastrous mismatches and first dates, Sarah begins to trust her own instincts again and learns that. no matter what, it's never a good idea to give up on love.

This movie always reminds me of real life. It's got to be some romance like this and interesting to watch how the relationship develops. It was great movie to watch and casts were perfect match. It had great scenes in the movie and music were fun to go with as well.Trying to Love :S - mavymoo
ok, so i was really excited to get this movie going. i never made it to the theater for it and now i am grateful i didn't waste my money! while the movie has an A-list cast, the acting was surprisingly bad! I found Lane's performance forced with so many unnecessary facial expressions and I found a real lack of chemistry between her and virtually everyone else in the cast. I was disappointed because I've loved her in everything else I've seen her in. And the gag reel at the end was totally pointless, with only one scene that's funny the first time but then after the 3rd time replaying it, you're left saying ok, we get it, she can't throw. Nice try, but no cigar.A great surprise of depth - pfaulkner
Must admit we were not expecting much. Seems every >30 actress is making a film about lost love and finding it again with quips and smiles throughout.
I am surprised and happy to report this film had depth with real characters who did more than show up to make a scene funny.
Loved this one so much I am going to get it for my library.
