The Frogmen
In this thrilling WWII adventure, a new commanding officer is sent to tighten the discipline of a group of Navy underwater demolition experts, a.k.a. frogmen. Replacing a popular officer whom the men idolized, the new commander at first wins few friends with his strict style. He finally proves himself by risking his own life to disarm a live torpedo, and then helps the men prepare for a critical but dangerous mission: sabotaging a Japanese submarine base.

Very good war movie. - George_Sly
This is really a good movie. It was little known for many years compared to a few others. It's black and white, possibly the reviewer saw a colorized TV version? There's plenty of action scenes, not much wasted time. Underwater swimming, cutting thru nets, under shell fire, underwater fights with Japs. A major 20th Century Fox production.
