Gilmore Girls: The Pilot Episode
The very first episode!
Rory is accepted at Chilton, an extremely prestigious and expensive prep school, and Lorelai is having difficulty raising the tuition money. She's forced to ask her wealthy, estranged parents for a loan, which they are happy to provide in exchange for an end to the estrangement and a family dinner every Friday night. As the plans for Chilton are finalized, Rory meets a very cute boy named Dean at Stars Hollow High School and begins to have second thoughts about Chilton. Lorelai discovers that her ambivalence about Chilton centers on a boy and they argue about her future. After the first Friday night family dinner at her grandparents' house, Rory decides to go to Chilton after all and makes up with Lorelai.

Whoa! One of the most entertaining series I have enjoyed. Love listening to the fast paced dialogue and bantering amongst the characters. Fun, funny and extremely witty show with alot of heart. Supremely written. Found myself completely sucked into the story lines. This is definitely not just a "chick-show", you guys will like it too.VERY GOOD MEMORIES... - Ricardo
of one of my favorite TV series and of the few that would actually make me watch TV. There was such a good set-up for the series in the pilot episode and although the character development would come in time, most of the plot lines that would be covered in the 1st season were shown, giving viewers a taste of things to come.
If you were a fan of this show as much as I was, this one's definitely for you!I Love These Girls - freshy360
From the first airing of the Gilmores, I haven't missed a show, the pace and flow of their talking is more natural, and less scripted. The towns people are endearing, some are a little off the wall, but emulates the aura of many small towns in north america. this show gives us a much needed female perspective on many things and faces many issues facing the younger generation, without sugar coating or making light of.
