Innocent Voices
How Much Will A Mother Sacrifice For The Love Of Her Son...
In war torn 1980's El Salvador, Chava, an eleven-year-old boy, suddenly becomes the "man of the house" in a time when the government's army is forcibly recruiting children for civil war. As his single mother fights to protect her children, their village becomes both playground and battlefield. This is a story of life, love, the hope of peace, and the ennobling power of the human spirit. Based on a true story.

Innocent Voices - Jude
This is an incredible movie and the fact that it is based on a true story makes it even more incredible. To understand that the cruelty and violence to small children has taken place in our life time is very sombering. The acting, direction, plot - everything in this movie is excellent. Not for children.True and sad, but great! - marcela
A very good movie; very touching especially for those from countries who have lived through war and gun shots through the night through your house...
Very touching, and a very realistic look at life through the eyes of a child during a civil war in a poor country. The actors were wonderful, especially the young boy. It's a devasting reality, but the movie also showed the happiness and resilience of youth. Must see for all.one of the best anti war movies i have seen - tbird
i think the reason i liked it was because it showed what everyday people go through during wartime. most movies about war are showing soldiers and it has over the top violence that sort of shocks. this movie was far more personal and i felt it was written from real life.
