Mixing colourful on-air personalities (Martin Mull, Eileen Brennan, and others) with great rock tunes and minimal advertising, Dugan has created a huge success in a huge media market - but his corporate bosses want more. When the order comes down from above to increase advertising revenues by increasing ad time and reducing the amount of rock and roll, Dugan and his DJs revolt.
