Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit
From the Creators of Chicken Run
From the Academy Award-winning creators of Wallace and Gromit comes "one of the most enjoyable family films of the year" (Jeffrey Lyons, NBC). When their town's prized produce starts disappearing, our cheese-loving inventor and his savvy canine companion must use all their wildly imaginative inventions to try to capture a mysterious beast of epic and fluffy proportions!
Hailed as "a terrific family movie" (Russ Leatherman, CNN and Moviefone.com) and "whimsical, funny and endlessly inventive" (Roger Ebert, Ebert & Roeper), The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit is a hare-raising adventure for the whole family!

I am not the target audience and I enjoyed myself so I guess that means it did the trick. The animation was extremely well done and the jokes are reasonably clever (some of the time) despite being extremely broad. So it's well worth seeing if this is your kind of thing, and it's certainly something you can show your kids and handle at the same time.Wallace and Gromit A Fun Time For All - TheShamus
I'll grind my axe right up front. Just because a movie is animated (cartoon, computer animation, clay animation, etc.), does *NOT* make it a "kid's movie". It's like saying, "Cotton Candy is Only For Kids". Just like there are always going to be plenty of adults who don't eat "cotton candy" because it is a child's food, there are plenty of people who are going to dismiss Wallace and Gromit as purely a kids movie.
Wallace and Gromit is suitable for kids, but they will not get the more subtle humour, and parodies. There are scenes which could be frightening for young viewers ... and the "bad guy" chases Were-Rabbit with a gun (although no animals were hurt during filming ... ha ha).
The mark of good animation is the way we get feeling from the characters --- even though the characters are limited in their expressions. The animators are clearly at the top of their craft.
To me, this story is cute enough, smart enough and funny enough to be animated through clay animation or computer animation. The clay animation is used cleverly ... and there were people laughing in our family who are pretty tough critics. They could not resist the overall charm.
Highly recommended to all (except those who are too mature to enjoy a fun animated feature).

What a charming story told with wit, humour, and (ironic for an animated film) great humanity. This isn't the kind of movie that will have you holding your gut from laughing too much. Rather it's the small, surprising, subtle touches of visual puns and slapstick that make it so worth watching. See it whether you watch it with kids or not.
