Great! - Sheenie
I have been a fan since the beginning, and since the 80s a-ha's popularity has been global - except for North America! That's why this DVD is a great opportunity to see a band you'll have to leave the country to see live. If you thought they were just a one hit wonder then check out this DVD and see what you've been missing! The good and bad - XTRUClerk
Live at Valhall is both an exhilirating experience and a bit of a let down. It's a let down because for about half the show the lead singer has a hard time hiting all his notes (he and the others also have these freaky ear-plugs that make you wonder if the show if being filmed on Mars or something). The band is determined to offer up songs from their latest album (or then latest album, there has been another album since this concert) so if you don't like those songs you may not like this concert. It is a good show though, the new songs are very good, and eventually the lead singer does find his voice (helped by some woman brought on stage, making many of the later songs duets) and although you have to wait the entire concert to hear Take On Me, it still sounds great live and the audience responds in a nice way. This is a concert for long time fans and worth looking into. Cheers.
