I saw this movie when it came out and I really enjoyed it. I re-read the novel and watched the movie again, almost 15 yrs later. I have to say, the book is amazing but this movie was not so good the second time around.

This adaptation of Jane Eyre was quite well done. I especially thought the casting was excellent. Charlotte Gainsbourg is the perfect Jane, and William Hurt does a good job as Rochester.
