A sensual coming of age classic
Andras Vayda (Tom Berenger) grows up in a turbulent, war-torn Hungary, where he begins to have affairs with women at a very early age. At twelve, the procures local girls for the occupying G.I.'s. One of the women from his 'stable', a beautiful former countess, initiates Andras into the rites of love. As a teenager, Andras is attracted to girls his age, but he is discouraged by their inexperience and shyness. Then he meets Maya and everything changes.
