Hercules
Half God. Half Man. All Power.
As Alcmene (Elizabeth Perkins, Finding Nemo), Princess of Thebes, awaits the return of her husband Amphitryon (Timothy Dalton, Living Daylights) from war, the virtuous bride falls victim to the licentious Zeus and finds herself carrying the great god's child. Born Hercules (Paul Telfer, Spartacus), the strapping lad is rejected by his mother, envied by his brother Iphicles, and loathed by Zeus's wife Hera. Unbeknownst to Hercules, his wife the priestess Megara and her sons are merely tools of the vengeful Hera, plotting against him and initiating events that lead to the banishment from his people.

This movie was a total disapointement. It was more about famillies that hate each other. They cry and blame Hercules. It was not much of an adventure or action movie. It was mostly a family feud movie, very sappy.
I only recommend this to someone who doesn't know anything about hercules and is willing to watch this without any other reference to Hercules.
I prefer Kevin Sorbo in Hercules Legendary Journeys.Deja Vu - Zoyamauz
"Hercules" is similar to other Hallmark productions such as "The Odyssey" and "Jason & The Argonauts" - like them even this film is mediocre in my opinion. Big names alongside some new acting talent. It makes for entertainment, but it's not mindblowing. The casting director seems to have an overactive preference for blondes with blue eyes as most of the supporting cast fits that description - Someone in the team had enough sense to say "Hold on! Hercules is Greek, he should be dark" - Unfortunately they sent the intern out who came back with pitch black hair dye, deffinitely atypical for our lead. One should also note that there is considerably more violence in this film than the others, personally I do not disagree with it as the ancient greek tales were savage indeed, but considering that this is TV viewing made for families...Hmm.
