Waiting...
What happens in the kitchen ends up on the plate.
A waiter for four years since high school, Dean (Justin Long) has never questioned his job at Shenanigan's. But when he learns that Chett, a high school classmate, now has a lucrative career in electrical engineering, he's thrown into turmoil about his dead-end life. Dean's friend Monty (Ryan Renolds) is in exactly the same boat, but he couldn't care less.
More concerned with partying and getting laid by underage girls, Monty is put in charge of training Mitch (John Francis Daley), a shy new employee. Over the course of one chaotic shift, Mitch gets to know the rest of Shenanigan's quirky staff: Monty's tough-talking ex-girlfriend, Serena (Anna Faris), Shenanigan's over-zealous manager, Dan (David Koechner), and head cook Raddimus (Luis Guzman), who's obsessed with a senseless staff-wide competition known only as "The Game"...

If you've ever waited tables in your life, you will find some laughs. My favorite was the employee who has "worked here waaaay to long." I could name a few of those I've met in my life...but I digress. I was hell bent onrenting this movie and was convinced by colleagues to give it a go. It was an okay movie but only because I could tell whoever wrote this movie had definitely worked in a restaurant before! The Goat! - TheCritic123
I know people that despise this one but i'm unsure as to why. If you are not a fan of crude humour then stay away but this one is non stop laughs if you can stick through some of the perversion. The casting in this is great and Reynolds aces this role which is very similar to the role he played in Van Wilder. One of the best comedy movies released in the last 5 years and recommended if you know what you are getting in to.Loved this movie - Dakos

You have to think in lines of how a restaurant works before throwing in the towel for this one. My family owned a fast food restaurant and you can definitely relate but as a previous reviewer mentioned, I have never experienced a moment where you feel it is necessary to "taint" a client's food. Yeah, Ryan Reynolds is an a**hole and a disgusting piece of crap but truthfully this is what he is good at when you look at his other movies(RE: Van Wilder, Buying the Cow). It is today's version of Private Lessons, the movie has limited acting roles and a lot of slapstick gross comedic references to male/female genitalia.
