The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
In World War II England, the four Pevensie siblings -- Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter -- enter the world of Narnia through a magical wardrobe while playing a game of 'hide-and-seek' in the rural country home of an elderly professor. Once there, the children discover a charming, peaceful land inhabited by talking beasts, dwarfs, fauns, centaurs and giants that has become a world cursed to eternal winter by the evil White Witch, Jadis. Under the guidance of a noble and mystical ruler, the lion Aslan, the children fight to overcome the White Witch's powerful hold over Narnia.

The characters were so full of life and it drew me close to their adventures with enchantment and imagination. After watching this movie, I rented all the other Narnia movies and have become a big fan of Narnia and Aslan, the gentle Lion King, so full of wisdom with a heart of gold. I really enjoyed this movie eventhough it was the first one I have ever seen in the Narnia Chronicles. The characters were so full of life and it drew me close to their adventures with enchantment and imagination. This has to be one of the best book to movie adaptations I have ever seen. The special effects were just wonderful and really brought to life the words of C.S Lewis and captured his imagination beautifully. It was well cast, especially the role of Lucy Pevensie. The little girl who portrayed her perfectly captured the innocence and wonder of children in that magical world. Definitely a must see movie for all ages!
