Cache (Hidden)
Georges (Daniel Auteuil), a television talk show host, and his wife Anne (Juliette Binoche), are living the perfect life of modern comfort and security. One day, their idyll is disrupted in the form of a mysterious videotape that appears on their doorstep. On it they are being filmed by a hidden camera from across the street with no clues as to who shot it, or why.
As more tapes arrive containing images that are disturbingly intimate and increasingly personal, Georges launches into an investigation of his own as to who is behind this. As he does so, secrets from his past are revealed, and the walls of security he and Anne have built around themselves begin to crumble.

Unsatisfying, unresolved...but was that the point? - Frank_Ricard
This was a tense and unsatisfying film to watch, but I believe that was the writer and director's intention.
It's a story about amorality, dishonesty, denial and subtle (and grievous) consequences. It was all handled in a very ambiguous way, each viewer will interpret differently...but perhaps that's more true to life than tying up the film in a tidy little bow at the end like so many stories do.
It was well done and original in its own way, the acting was excellent. I just didn't enjoy the experience very much, which is why it gets 3/5.Amazing Movie - with a Great ending! I don't know what everyone's problem with it is... - Ptimmyj
This movie is a refreshing break from mainstream cinema that explores the eternally complex issues of guilt, possibilities and perspective. The sheer density of the emotions and connections between all the different characters is quite impressive. This is the kind of movie that you will talk about and think about long after you finish watching it, for it is not designed to be forgotten like mainstream movies are.
The ending is something you will either love or hate, and both for countless reasons. The ending is absolutely up to your interpretation, that's the most I'll say about it. Personally, I loved it. I was so thrilled that nothing conventional, cliche or stereotypical happened in this movie; it is completely fresh and superbly written.
It is also superbly acted; all of the actors and actresses embodied their characters accurately and most importantly, REALISTICALLY.
The film as a whole does such an amazing job capturing the fragility and complexity of humankind that you find yourself in complete belief of the actors/actresses portrayal of their character.
Definitely worth a watch!!!
If you're educated in the mainstream cinema, it will be difficult, but give it a chance!
One of the best films I've seen for quite a while!
Recommended!A film about guilt, selfishness and morality - Locut0s
At it's heart this is a film about selfishness and guilt. It forces the viewer to ask themselves question about guilt and morality. Under what circumstances should one feel guilty for an action that has negative consequences on someone else's life. Should one still feel guilty if one was not wholly to blame, or perhaps not even mature enough yet to know what the consequences of ones actions. Perhaps one should never feel guilt, perhaps the guilt should overwhelm them. In any case far more questions are raised by Cache than are answered. This is not a film for people who do not enjoy ambiguity in their art, for it abounds here. At the simplest level this is a thriller that keeps one continually guessing. Is character A or B to blame? Will something horrible happen to the family at the centre of this all? There is a sort of sinister undercurrent that suffuses many scenes and one almost feels that this could turn into a horror movie at any point. But like so much else in the film the director simply leaves one with a feeling that something is about to happen then withdraws at the last moment. As a result we have a fascinating film in which not a lot actually happens in terms of incidence and is much more about the undercurrents than about the surface.
