Kronk's New Groove
The Hilarious All-New Sequel To The Emperor's New Groove
Get back in the groove with Disney's hilarious all-new movie. After his wild adventures with Pacha and Emperor Kuzco, lovable lug Kronk, Yzma's former henchman, has happily started a new life as the head chef in his very own diner. An all-new wacky adventure begins, however, when a llama-gram arrives telling him that his father is due for a visit.
Before you can say "squeaker, squeak," Kronk is cooking up trouble with the sly enchantress Yzma, trying to make himself look like a success in time for Papi's arrival. After a bunch of big blunders and a massive cheese explosion in the restaurant, Kronk finds himself covered in a heap of trouble. It is only with the help of friends both old and new that Kronk learns to be true to his groove.

The first movie was so funny and clever. It was also one of those kids movies that I can actually watch over and over without getting to annoyed. I loves the Emperors New Groove, it made me laugh and my nephew actually sits and watches it the entire length of the movie without getting bored.
This movie, however, was horrible. It had an incredibly bad story line for starters. The entire movie was based an a teeny tiny story line that was boring. Then they repeated all the clever jokes of the first movie, but they just weren't funny the second time around. Then they add the old lady from the first movie and you think that the movie might be going somewhere, but she was entirely pointless...so then they get back to the main storyline again and blah blah blah.... Kronk's dad arrives and then the movie is over....
What a waste of time and of a rental. My 2 year old nephew only sat down and was quiet for about 20 mins....and then even he got bored...
Do not rent this movie unless you are looking for a movie that might be somewhat entertaining for kids and not at all for adults. This movie will disappoint you.Mediocre Follow-Up - PowerPipes
To compare this to the Emperors New Grove is an exercise in futility. The second coming can’t hold a flame to its predecessor. While it was still an okay flick it failed to meet any expectations set by its predecessor. There were a handful of really funny parts but otherwise it felt like CG animated filler produced out of obligation to capitalistic principals.
The kids liked it so it scores ok but definitely not what it could have or should have been in my books.Alright kid's show - Jagflynn
After the first movie, you of course, wouldn't expect anything great. Kronk, did steal quite a few scenes in the first show, so you weren't really sure whether or not this would be as good. My kids seemed to like it, but it isn't as funny as the first one. All the original cast voiced their roles again, but I guess David Spade didn't have a big enough part for it to be as funny. As a family, we all love cartoons and like it when we can all really laugh at them but this one didn't appeal to the adults as much as the kids.
