Grandma's Boy
Includes both the theatrical and unrated versions!
Gamers, grannies and stoners unite! From Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions comes a raucously funny, "fish-out-of bongwater comedy" (Playboy) that'll have you rolling with laughter! Life is sweet for 35-year-old video game tester Alex (Allen Covert), until he's forced to move in with his overbearing grandmother Lilly (Doris Roberts) and her two roommates: oversexed Grace (Shirley Jones) and overmedicated Bea (Shirley Knight). To save face with his much younger co-workers and super-sexy new boss (Linda Cardellini), Alex brags about the "three hot babes" living with him, but soon that cat's out of the bag?and the real party at Grandma's house has just begun! If you love footie pajamas, techno-talk and karate-chopping chimps (and who doesn't?), grab your buds and watch Grandma's Boy!

I thought the acting was really good for such a "low-budget" film, and the chemistry between the characters seemed very real. I love Doris Roberts, and she was hilarious.
I liked one message in the movie, which was that, no matter what your age, you can still live your dreams. You don't have to follow the normal path and "grow up". You can grow DOWN if you choose!hahahaha - PeopleToCakeRatio
I was probably in a relaxed mood when I saw this...because I thought it was, for the most part, hilarious.
If you have a dry or sarcastic sense of humour this is a fine piece of cinema for you. That, and if you've ever worked at a software company you may relate to the office culture displayed in the film.
Leave part of your intellect at the door though.Boo! - V4D3R
I didn't like this. Actually, the movie started out great, but the ending was so terrible that I cannot give this movie more than two stars. It was hilarious in some parts but man did it ever get dumb as it progressed. Seemed like a half-assed effort.
